  1. The colored static is because it's a one dimensional representation of a two dimensional image representing our three dimensional world. I still say that the current method of imitating neurons is going about it the wrong way, but I'm actually glad for that because it means they're not likely to create true AGI.

  2. @marcusk.6223 Unless I've found the wrong guy, it looks like he's also using "simulated neurons". The about page on his website, again if I've found the correct guy, mentions that he's got a page on WP calling him a roboticist.
