  1. What's really wild about this story is that I've got a copy of that very sketch sitting in my video folder ready to cue up, and that is the very sketch he referenced. Instead of forking such a project, it'd be awesome if we could just replace it instead. Maybe force scientists to actually learn how to program by making them use the language that all of Python's best libraries are written in, C. Of course, even using C you can still mitigate your need to think about your code, but who's going to teach scientists those methodologies.
