  1. I agree with the first paragraph, but 2FA really depends on the methodology used. If it's through a cell phone, then it's not actually secure and could even be a big headache if you have a malicious actor appropriating your phone. Sure, there are other methods, but nearly every time I've seen it pop up, it's been cell phone based and that's just wrong.
