Bah, who cares if we're in the minority, I'd do the same. I've got rivers near me. I'd likely be a lot more productive in my day job and various hobbies if I didn't have YouTube distracting me anyhow, and if the rest of these addicts were honest with themselves and willing to better themselves they'd touch grass too.

@werdfeefs7027 There is a positive thing about those server side injected ads, you won't have to worry about malicious code running on your system from the ad, hopefully.

This is part of why I don't let plugins auto-update. When Chrome was new, I rejected it immediately as it was lacking so many options that Firefox had and I still feel that it doesn't have enough configuration options. I like the idea of browsers building it in, and they should, but I hope that they also allow you to manually edit the block list, because sometimes things wind up on that list that shouldn't be blocked. I don't know if Brave and Vivaldi allow the user to edit them, but if they do then good on them. It's somewhat funny that I got an ad for Chrome and Google AI after this video.
