  1. This is certainly a step in the right direction, though the ultimate mini-OS will still always be Menuet. Fits on a single floppy disk, includes full source and yet still has a GUI complete with a desktop view with icons. I'd love to see a super cut down KDE based distro that can fit within 50mb, but that's the amount of space a single app would take up.

  5.  @Mempler  When you say very basic shell scripts, how much functionality did you implement? If you use a library to handle certain things do you count that library? If you incorporated variables and sub-shells, how did you keep track of the environment? I'm assuming you wouldn't have included parsing to handle {if, for, while, etc...}?

  6.  @Mempler  Probably would've been better to just add the few thousand lines and implement malloc et. al, and maybe a few thousand more to implement a hash table.
