I'm shocked by such a development, as I've heard no end of praise for this program. I very rarely bother to list my files and for those times when I do I've wrapped the command in a shell function to accomplish all kinds of weird things, but what concerns me more is, what happened to "eya"? I'm assuming the worst since it didn't even get a mention.

I added a shell function to my aliases to list only the last 20 files in an -rt ordering, and I gave it an argument to adjust the count. If you list your files a lot it'll save you a lot of time.

Funny you should mention directories first because `ls` has had that for at least 4 years. I haven't updated my Pi in forever and it has it.

@paulie-g It's unfortunate that somewhere around half of the people in this country are completely insane. The problem with insanity though is that the insane person nearly never knows that they're insane. Even more unfortunate that as I've talked with people from other countries more and more I've found that there's a nearly universal belief that the entire US is a certain way and all they have to base this on is propaganda. From what you've said I'd wager you were European, and may have a mistaken view on certain people here that perhaps leads you to think negatively of both groups. Though, I can assure you that only one side is insane.

@paulie-g As to your first paragraph, I feel your pain. I've been pointing out the lies of the media for years and telling people that the slippery slope is real and been ignored as though I was a crackpot. Now that I've been proven right about society, people still ignore me as a crackpot. Eventually I just may give up on humanity.
