  2. If you're using KDE or GNOME, there's probably a big button you can press to open any of the programs installed on your system, just type task manager when you open that menu and it'll pop right up. For Xfce or any others, you'll have to read the manual, but I bet one is there.

  3.  @salvaje1  What information are you looking for that Windows provides and they don't? Because every task manager I can use on my machine shows the RAM usage and spawned processes.

  5. This could have some utility outside of being a joke. I can see a corporate IT guy installing it so that users are reminded what company they work for. Or maybe even use it to display the time so you can focus better. Actually, that sounds good because I have problems focusing.
