  1. Maybe the distro maintainers should add distro contact info to packages they modify and make if clear that if there are problems with a package that all queries should start there. Would save the developers a lot of hassle in tracking down issues they didn't create.

  2.  @Spartan322  Sure, but the AUR is maintained by users of Arch. As in the packages aren't necessarily built by the people who work on the individual projects. Everything there should be regarded as the fault of the package maintainer and not the project developer. If they required packages to be submitted by the developers then I could get blaming them, but they're submitted by anyone. If people don't understand what they're using... well, they'll stay Windows users because that's their mentality. And truthfully, I'm starting to think that bug reports should be ignored unless they include full information such as distro, version of, where they acquired the package and who and how it was built.

  3. Most kind of already are. Just remove sudo access for normal users and all installs will have to be local for a given user.
