  2.  @elimgarak3597  They can still do that with the GPL. Produce a binary, sell it, and give the source. Most normies aren't capable of compiling squat, so it's easy to make money doing what they could do themselves if they bothered to learn. But then you'd know that if you bothered to learn something yourself.
