Well, it's not really over, they're just shifting the goal posts. You should still try to fight it at every point where they're attempting to intrude on our lives. I refuse to even consider buying any game that has anti-cheat, especially those with rootkits. If everyone else would join me in doing the same then we could get them to stop doing it, but I am one person.

@pandapip1 That's how most that fight me do it, and if you have it on before you navigate there they fail to detect it in those cases.

@pandapip1 Maybe, but like I said, just have it open before navigating to hinky websites. Also, if you're making changes, they can detect if something isn't loaded and will inject it again. Sometimes adjusting z-order is all it takes.

@qlx-i Well, they wouldn't care about you using a tiling WM, but certain websites don't want you downloading images or they are written by morons that think only Windows can open PDF's and other garbage design like that. Government websites in the US are most often guilty of shit design that tells you "nope, not going to work with you because you're not exactly what we expect". Banking websites, too.
