  1. Well, this would certainly make your desktop stuff more easily portable. It'd be like any cloud computing solution. You could always roll your own, or go with someone else's provided solution. As for tabs, I've got anywhere from 5 to 10 per desktop with a browser, 7 just for YouTube as I'm sort of maintaining the recommendations because there are a lot of videos that pop up that I want to see. Just found yet another channel devoted to the 6502, so I'm well and truly over 400 subs now. I usually just put my computer to sleep at night when I go to bed, but I only ever close every tab when FireFox has an update available, which these days seems to be every week. I see the little notification dot telling me to update but have too many things open today. The documentation desktop has dozens of tabs open, so it may be a while yet.

  2. When you're coding, do you have multiple tabs open for each project? I like to put two vim windows side-by-side taking a whole desktop and then have multiple tabs open in each for a given project. Sometimes I'll work on two or three projects at a time and span them across different desktops.
