  1. I think whatever makes installing the OS easier is good. Most people these days are lazy and don't care how the things they use work, only that they work. So if it makes even one more Linux distribution easier to install and push newbies towards it and away from Windows, I say great, do it. Though, I'm going to keep pushing people toward learning more about the system they use either way. If I could I'd push everyone to install LFS even if it was just once.
