  1. Maybe I'm weird, but even though I'm a KDE user, I prefer to write GUI's in GTK. They're ugly, but functional, as opposed to Qt where they're functional, but not ugly. That's not exactly praise for one over the other, but truthfully, if it weren't such an issue with supporting other apps, I'd really rather start from scratch and dump both GTK and Qt. This is one of those pointless wishes for the future, because given how development on Linux goes it'll never happen. Maybe I should start my own distro.
