  2. I definitely don't miss the days when it was so easy to kill a monitor. I personally discovered how easy it was to fsck a CRT permanently by using a science project involving an electromagnet powered by two lantern batteries. Not a configuration issue, obviously, but still a case where they die far too easily. Skip to today, can't kill my flat screen LCD that way, yay!
