I keep hoping that someone will figure out the correct fix for packaging and containerized or not we download less and have zero conflicts, but since no one will see this anyway I'm just urinating into the void. Sure, I could do it myself if I had the time, but unless I could find a job where that's literally all I do I don't think that's going to happen.
