  1. I don't understand why anyone uses VSCode. If you want bloated software, then use Emacs. No one should want software that disrespects your privacy. And if you want a more modern GUI editor, then try either Kate or Geany. Of course, if you're on Linux then even KDevelop is a good choice. Of course I'll keep using Vim, but I don't recommend anyone who desires VSCode to even attempt copying me, because they'll never figure out how to exit the editor.
