  1. Very interesting, and it's nice to see someone debunking Derek, too often he just kind of gives a hand-wavey explanation and drops the baII. I'm not sure what use this has yet, but good to have this information so others don't have to do the same experiments. As for understanding lightning, I'd be curious if it's possible to alter the biology of a human so they could more easily withstand strikes.

  4. I'm a skeptic, but for a completely different reason. Humans are degrading in intelligence and science is currently suffering the biggest brain drain of any other field. Far too many believe in falsehoods. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you're still asleep.

  5. I think your off the cuff calculations of how much such a plane would weigh are wrong. Considering how tall it would be, it would need to have a frame capable of holding up the weight of all the passengers and that would likely require steel. Steel weighs more than the aluminum generally used in planes and would necessitate even more engine power and thus more steel to hold up those engines. Regardless of the safety of nuclear power, or of how much energy could be output, I have a hard time believing it would ever get off the ground.

  7. I feel sorry for that poor guy, he obviously has a mental disability and you're making fun of him. I also feel sorry for Elon, he's a dreamer, he has grand ideas, he just doesn't know how to actualize them. It's not an entirely bad idea to add roads by digging holes, it's just highly impractical. It'd be easier to build bridges and put new roads over the old roads.

  9. I feel ridiculous for having watched this, as you should feel for debunking an obvious ldlot. 28 minutes wasted on both of our parts and you're not even being funny in making fun of him. I feel sorry for him for having wasted his own time attempting to debunk something that was true. All three of us are pathetic, him, you and me for bothering.
