It's really sad that this is happening all over the world, and not just in English speaking countries. Although, that would be bad enough as it is. Our entire civilization is collapsing and crumbling under its own hubris and we sit back doing nothing. I can't help but think of something that Thomas Jefferson said which I'll paraphrase for modern linguistics: when tyranny becomes law, resistance becomes duty.

It's truly sad how bad things have gotten. I hope you guys can come back from this insanity. I hope we can too, but we haven't progressed to where you guys are quite yet, so we've got a longer path to travel to get there.

Have you fallen for the media's lies? It's like no one understand the economy anymore so they whine about temporary pain with zero perspective of the bigger picture. Look at the trends over the past decade and you'll realize that the media is trying to drum up extra fear for a move that's actually good for us in the long term. Especially when you consider that during Biden's four years the economy was taking a nosedive off a cliff and the slight dip now is still higher than his entire four years. I'll give you a quick lesson on the economy. The stock market isn't real. Every bit of it is based off of speculation, which is to say, fear. If I could be the BDFL of the world, I'd get rid of the stock market because it's corruption of the economy.
