Neither here nor there, but you couldn't actually survive on just coconuts for months. You need more nutrients than coconuts provide, aside from the fact that they would likely give you the runs. Of course, I've heard that if you had only potatoes and milk that you could survive indefinitely from just those two foods. And again, I know this really has little bearing on the island analogies, it's just something that I was thinking of.
