  1. It's not like C at all. It's more like C++, but with worse syntax. If you want easy, then use Python or BASIC. You won't learn how your computer works, but you'll be able to write programs to do things you want. If you really enjoy programming and actually want to learn how things work, start with C and assembly and work your way up through C++ before you take on any other languages, especially garbage trend languages.
