If it weren't for double standards the left would have no standards at all. They flip flop on a subject, well it's just them evolving and becoming "better" people. Someone on the right flip flops, usually due to actual moral growth, well it's them being a two-faced liar, or they'll never forgive what they did in the past. Basically, if you ever take a stance against the narrative you're excommunicated. I don't suppose it really matters though because it's rare that we should all agree, as in it's rare that those on the left should ever take a moral stance.
