@hellothere1656 The Kashmiris in IOK should behave similar to the Kashmiris in Azad Kashmir if they want equal outcomes. This has nothing to do with India because India already has a higher gdp per capita, better freedoms, better safety, autonomy, their own PM ect… when compared to Pakistan. Not to mention the fact that that IOK has a higher HDI when compared to Azad Kashmir, so I doubt anything you say is true. Why would Kashmiris want to join a more corrupt country (Pakistan) instead of staying with a least corrupt country (India)? xD

I already told you that IOK is a more conflict zone when compared to Azad Kashmir, but still Azad Kashmir is not a utopia either. Nepal has more harsh terrain than Pakistan, yet it still has a higher HDI, so that excuse doesn’t work. HDI is the more important stat and it takes into account some of the other stats you mentioned. Kashmir would be better off without ☪️. India can and has invested way more in Kashmir when compared to Pakistan, so there is no economical reason why IOK should join Azad Kashmir.

Also the invading tribes from Pakistan butchered countless Kashmiri Pandits, who FYl were persecuted by the muslims in kashmir since before the partition of India. Furthermore, almost every single top western scholar and phd historians like francois gauttier koenaard elst william durrant robert spencer etc all say the same thing.

@hellothere1656 Entire South Asia was a conflict zone since ☪️ entered South Asia. You just can’t take Kashmir out of isolation from what is happening to the rest of South Asia. The former PM used the military to clear out an armed separatist militia that was hiding in the gurdwaras, which resulted in anger from Khalistanis, which resulted in the former pm life, which resulted in anger from the former pm’s supporters and Hindus in general. Even today, you see 🗡️ fights in the gurdwaras.

@hellothere1656 They weren’t protesting for freedom, they were an armed group who wanted a Sikh state. The Kashmiris wanted an ☪️ state. In fact, you can see them holding ☪️ flags in their “protests”. The CRPF simply brought law and order to Kashmir. You think throwing 🪨 at the authorities is considered “unarmed” when it’s not. But I wouldn’t expect you to understand anyway because you don’t understand the difficulties in the life of a solider in a civilian area. And I don’t know what Kashmiri child you’re talking about but they are videos showing Indian troops playing with Kashmiri children on YouTube.

@hellothere1656 Well I already told you that India was already rich before the Mughals and if you think making monuments is considered making a country rich, then go ahead but clearly those monuments didn’t help the average person. Whatever the Mughals lo*ted wouldn’t be counted as lo*ted because they stayed in India (unlike the British) and how do think the Mughal rulers lived in luxury without tax money? What the Mughals didn’t do was industrialize South Asia, the way the Europeans were, which is why they ended up losing to them and to other Hindu dynasties in the first place. China and India had the same living standards in 1950.

@hellothere1656 The Mughal empire was not comparatively richer than other countries. There wasn’t a comparative difference in gdp per capita or life expectancy at that time. India is already the 3rd largest economy by GDP PPP. China had an autocratic Han Chinese government, that was able to implement market reforms before India (in 1978). India can’t have an autocratic Hindu government because as you said, it will lead to a civil war, which is not the case in China. A more accurate comparison would be with Pakistan and India is richer than Pakistan. In fact, the Hindus in India are richer than the ☪️ in India. India also had to deal with multiple religiously motivated separatist movements and China/Pakistan as neighbors. Small and more homogeneous countries (like China) are always easier to manage than large, diverse countries like India. Even the man who developed Singapore said he couldn’t develop India.

I don’t know what poverty index you’re referring to but Nepal (17.5%) does better on the multidimensional poverty index when compared to Pakistan (38.3%). You just can’t claim one stat is more important than another without no justification whatsoever. All you’re doing is picking and choosing which stats are better based on what makes Pakistan look good. That’s why you try to downplay HDI when it’s one of important stat out there. Hilarious, how India has a higher gdp per capita than Pakistan and yet that isn’t important when it comes to comparing India and Pakistan 🤡 🤡.

U would rather take the average of WB pverty rates (which doesn’t prove anything) than the average income of an Indian/Pakistani because India does better on gross national income (GNI). In the Indian subcontinent rulers like Aurangzeb Tipu sultan Allahuddin Khijli Muhammed Bin Qasim Taimur Lang Muhammed of Ghor feroz shah tuglaq all prctd frcd cnvrsns dstrctn of tmpls and gncd/atrcts towards the local Hn du population There is ample evidence to support all this including preserved memoirs letters to soldiers and their own court documents (ie for Aurangzeb) written in their own handwritting and preserved which prove he ordrd dstrctn of tmpls etc

That should be good enough.

The main point you’re missing here is that Kashmir belongs to India legally, whether you like it or not. Furthermore, Hindutva RSS are freedom fighters against centuries of ☪️ rule. Even in Kashmir, they were fighting for the rights and freedoms of pundits.

@hellothere1656 Hinduism doesn’t say anything about taxing other religions, so even if that’s the case, you have to blame Aurangzeb and his religion for people in his administration taxing people based on religion. The point is that those taxes are why people changed their religion. ☪️ rule (especially under Aurangzeb) was not peaceful in any way and Aurangzeb may have been responsible for way more than 100,000 innocent people (which you will just deny anyway).

No country on earth operates by giving referendums every time a group of people ask for it, just like how Pakistan didn’t give referendums for Baluchistan or East Pakistan. @hellothere1656 It wasn’t just Aurangzeb. There were many Mughal rulers who weren’t great and I listed them before. South Asia had a larger share of the world economy before the Mughals and India is richer right now, compared to when it was under Mughal rule. GDP per capita and life expectancy is how you measure how rich your country is, not simply having a large economy because of a large population. You feel that India is more poor now because the rest of the world became more richer, when India was under British rule and then Congress rule. India is still not under hindutva rule lol.

@hellothere1656 You’re just throwing the word geno around, because you don’t understand its true meaning. It’s an insult to the people who actually suffered from geno, like the J during WW2. All India did was respond militarily to separatist armed movements, which any country would do in order to maintain territorial integrity. They are claims about how Aurangzeb k around 4.6 million Hindus. Now I don’t believe those claims are completely accurate, but the total number suggests way more than 100,000 people.

@hellothere1656 Where is your source that the Indian government did far w in the first two years of independence than Aurangzeb entire reign? How can you even compare the two eras when South Asia’s population was much greater during India’s independence? My source is historian/economist Angus Maddison, who estimated that India accounted for roughly 30% of the world's GDP percent from 1-1000 AD (during Hindu period). In fact, historians are in agreement that the golden age of India happened during the Gupta period (source PBS). So all the Mughals did was rule an already large economy and used those tax sources to make themselves richer.

@hellothere1656 Because you’re the one who claimed that Mughal India is richer than modern India, which makes no sense whatsoever. The per capita GDP and life expectancy wasn’t much different around the world before the age of industrialization. So it’s not like Mughal India was any more richer compared to other empires or countries at that time, but simply had a larger economy because it had a larger population. Btw, you’re comparing apples to oranges by comparing small Jordan to large India. And resources doesn’t guarantee that a country is rich or not. There is something in economics called resource c*rze or Dutch 🦠.

@hellothere1656 That’s not true because Christians and Sikhs are richer than Hindus. In fact, the most secular ☪️ are the most successful in India. Congress has been catering more to ☪️ than to Hindus and they are ☪️ parties in India, that are in control of some area of India and ☪️ are still not doing good. Pakistan funded t groups in Afghanistan so you can’t excuse Pakistan when their actions backfired on them later on. Pakistan effectively colonized Bangladesh, which ultimately lead Bangladesh to demand independence. Pakistan is also less diverse than India and were given more land compared to their population in 1947 (especially when you disregard East Pakistan). India is more diverse than Singapore and much larger than Singapore, hence why he said developing India is a much bigger challenge than developing Singapore. Singapore is also located in a very important trading route.

Perhaps they were people who did pretend to change their religion, but let’s not act like it’s easy, as you have to change your name in all legal documents. Besides, the Hindus were in the majority, so they would rather revolt (which they successfully did) instead of pretending to be another faith. Aurangzeb did try doing that but because his faith is in the minority, it backfired and cost him his rule. It’s a documented historical fact that FC happened for centuries because of ☪️ rule. You actually don’t have any historical evidence to prove your points, hence you keep bringing up that India is still majority hindu to deny the past. Taking the average of the difference in % between WB pverty rates is also completely pointless because these are just arbitrary rates and don’t prove anything (from a statistical point of view). The fact of the matter is that the average Indian is earning more than the average Pakistani and the majority of Indians are earning more than Pakistanis (which is proven by $6.85 and $10 WB rates).

It’s also hilarious how u keep using 2010 Nepal WB pverty rate stats, which the WB themselves confirm by saying “pverty in Nepal was last measured in 2010” and comparing that to 2018 Pakistan WB pverty rates. The difference in GDP per capita between Nepal and Pakistan is negligible, hence we look at all the other stats I mentioned which clearly prove that Nepal is better than Pakistan.

@hellothere1656 The WB bank uses gross national income (GNI) to determine what the average income is in each country, proving yet again that the average Indian earns more than the Pakistani. GDP per capita already establishes this fact and economists are experts in knowing how to measure the richness of a country. Now u believe u know more than economists? 🤡😂 First of all, they are many factors (besides just 💰) to determine which country is better to live in.

@hellothere1656 Having trouble reading the website again 💀 EPI stands for environmental performance index and uses 58 performance indicators across 11 issue categories. U just choose to use one of those indicators instead of looking at the total EPI score. Also, I don’t know what u are yapping about now because India does better than Pakistan on both the EPI and hnger index so I’m good either way lol. @ Total EPI score for India is 27.6 (which is ranked 175) while the total EPI score for Pakistan is 25.5 (which is ranked 178). Again, if u can’t read the website, then even Wikipedia confirms what I said. It’s actually embarrassing how many times u have misread or misrepresented statistics. This is why literacy rate is very important, but unfortunately Pakistanis don’t take it seriously and think they are in a better position than they actually are in most statistics. U have not proven that Azad Kashmir or G Baltistan has a higher gdp per capita than IOK because u used completely different sources. IOK is a conflict zone so of course economic activity will be limited and it will not be safe. People can’t just pretend to change their religion to avoid taxation 😂. They kept records on who went to temples, mosques ect… F conversions did work in almost all the countries that are ☪️ today. Aurangzeb tried to make all of India ☪️ and failed. Neither less, he was still able to get many people to change their religion, before his rule collapsed.

@hellothere1656 Pakistan is now paying the price for supporting the mujahideen and doing business with the Taliban. Not only was the capital in Pakistan, but most of the government/military were Pakistani and most of the invests were in Pakistan, even though Bangladesh had a bigger population. This economic divide built over time and the Pakistani p response to the 1970 ⛈️ that hit Bangladesh was the final trigger for independence. The point is that less diverse countries are easier to develop (like China) because they have less separatist movements. Most of the Indus Valley was in Pakistan and Pakistan still has plenty of fertile land for its size. The fact of the matter is that Pakistan invested more of their resources to conflict than India, which explains why they are behind India today. Their atomic scientist even said “If India makes an atom 💣 , then even if we have to feed on grass and leaves—or even if we have to starve—we shall also produce an atom 💣 as we would be left with no other alternative.” Keep in mind that Pakistan started all (if most conflicts) with India and is more obsessed about the wellbeing of Kashmiris and Indian ☪️ then of their own citizens.

@hellothere1656 Now let’s look at per capita income. It was about $450 in 1st AD and about $550 in AD 1500, before Mughals ruled India. After about 200 years of rule, the per capita income still remained at $550 during Mughal period. As can be seen, there was hardly any increase in per capita income during Mughal Rule. In fact, I believe that the British were more beneficial to India than the Mughals because they introduced some industrialization (like railways), English and it was under the British that a sense of nationality/unity developed across religious lines in South Asia. China has more resources/land than India and is less diverse than India (which allowed it to develop a successful autocratic government).

So no, that doesn’t justify Pakistan’s interference in Afghanistan, which backfired in the future. You just can’t fund ☪️ groups, thinking they are for freedom, when that was never (and will never) be their ultimate goal. It doesn’t matter if Pakistan doesn’t recognize IOK, it still doesn’t concern you directly. What is Pakistani culture, for you to conclude Kashmiri culture is similar to it? Many want to be Pakistani because of ☪️ and they can simply move to Pakistan if they want too. Pakistan has a lot to gain by controlling all of Kashmir. They can build a greater alliance with China and control more water resources.

Even a Kashmir ran by the UN or an independent Kashmir (which will obviously be more favorable to Pakistan) is more geopolitically beneficial for Pakistan than an Indian control of Kashmir. You’re not understanding that India controlling Kashmiri water resources (that flows into Pakistan’s rivers) is a major risk for Pakistan’s survival (especially with a rapidly growing population).

This doesn’t happen in India, where the civilian government is in control of the military. Even the ISI operates independently from all other agencies. The bottom line is that you didn’t follow Gandhi so why should others follow Gandhi? Bangladesh government is very friendly with the modi government. Bangladesh became more developed because of the textile industry. No it does matter because all the instances of success in South Asia is when ☪️ are secular. They are only two hin majority countries, both in South Asia, so I don’t why you’re trying to compare their economic development to ☪️ nations out of South Asia.

But India (93) and Nepal (108) are not even that corrup in the first place, according to the 2023 corruptio perceptio index. In fact, ☪️ countries like Pakistan (133), Bangladesh (149), Afghanistan (162), Somalia (180 which is last place) are far more corrup than India or Nepal. Then in terms of pov, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan ect… are all behind India (even Bangladesh depending on which source you’re using) so clearly ☪️ didn’t help them at all. And don’t bring up excuses of how these countries are conflict zones because India too deals with conflict zones, but was able to prevent it from overtaking the country. ☪️ also leads to more conflict zones (Sunni shia), especially with other religions.

You have to read my comments in context if you want to understand what I mean. Venezuela is not a top oil exporter nor the Venezuela have the same advantages that Saudi Arabia and Qatar have (cheap foreign labor, Western support). Turkey became rich because of the Ottoman Empire and under secularism/westernization. Who said Turkey is even a 1st world country? The European part of Turkey is way richer than the Asian part of Turkey. Malaysia is also located in an important trading zone and the Chinese are richest there (who are not ☪️). Malaysia also have a more secular version of government (modeled after the British) while the poorest parts of Malaysia are more ☪️ and want shariah.

Middle East countries don’t protect their own trade routes, so the amount of credit you can give the Saudis and Qataris is very little (just look at what these regions look like before oil discoveries). India doesn’t have many resources compared to other countries, especially when compared to how large the population is. Any oil India produces would simply be consumed in India itself because it’s a large oil consumer, when compared to much smaller middle eastern populations (where most of their population are foreign workers).

Turkey and Malaysia had zero influence on IOK, so that proves how useless your ummah is. ☪️ is basically 7th century Arabian culture, that is now mixed with other indigenous cultures (in order to remain popular in that region). All religions are a reflection of the cultural conditions in which they were invented. Christianity it s reflection of 1st Century Levantine culture. Islam is a reflection of 7th Century Arabian culture. Scientology is a reflection of 1950s American culture. And so on. So in that respect, the culture most definitely makes the religion.

You’re also comparing data from different years and cost of living was not taken into account. ☪️ has the highest poverty rate in India, so there u go. The cutoff-points are HDI of less than 0.550 for low human development, 0.550–0.699 for medium human development, 0.700–0.799 for high human development and 0.800 or greater for very high human development. India and Bangladesh are both in the medium human development category and not far off from one another (based on your percentage). And then when you take into account other factors, you consistently find India ranked above Bangladesh on quality of life and best places to live.

They are some products (especially Bengali products) that only India makes, so it’s not that straightforward to find another trading partner that makes the same products. And then you don’t understand that trading with neighbors is more cost effective than trading with far away places. HDI takes into account life expectancy, access to knowledge and a decent standard of living all of which have very little to do with geography. Poverty rate is even less important than the multidimensional poverty index (which the people who made those statistics themselves said) and the major factor for poverty rate is income inequality (measured by the gini coefficient). Geography is a major factor for the hunger index because the amount of crops you can grow is dependent on your geography/climate. Bangladesh doesn’t have a similar geography to India whatsoever. Well you haven’t been to either country and it clearly shows. The entire reason why most Bangladeshis are ethnicity Bengali is because their geography is less diverse when compared to India.

@hellothere1656 Literacy rate is definitely more important than having a supposedly higher IQ because someone with a lower IQ but more educated is going to be a more productive member of society when compared to someone with a higher IQ but less educated. A higher literacy rate means that people have a greater chance of leaving poverty, so you can no longer only blame the government for poverty when the individuals informed decisions also played a part in why they are in poverty. The happiness index has very little to do with how good a country is and more to do with the feelings of their citizens. You can trick a person into making them happy, even when they are in a bad state.

And if you call the British Raj illegitimate, then Pakistan is also illegitimate because it was created with the support of the British, just like Israel. Not every country has a democracy so a ruler being unpopular is irrelevant to whether he or she is the legitimate ruler of that land. If he didn’t have control over Kashmir, then no one had control over Kashmir and it was up for grabs by anyone. Doesn’t even matter what he truly wanted as we have a legal document (the instrument of accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India) signed by him, while you have no legal documents at all as your case if purely based on emotions. The same UN wanted a two state solution for Israel and Palestine, and you didn’t want that so you are the root of that problem by that logic. It’s like asking Ukraine to accept a negotiated settlement after losing land, when Ukraine believes all the land before 2014 belongs to them.

The fact of the matter is that the subcontinent had a shared history, hence why the British ruled it as a one entity. And the people “choose” to become ☪️ after centuries of ☪️ rule (which started out with foreign rulers). Pakistan’s entire existence is based on ☪️. Many countries started out as settler colonies and it doesn’t make them illegitimate today. ✡️ is both an ethnicity and a religion. The European colonists you speak of have at least partial ancestry in that region. I would hardly consider Afghan/Iranian as South Asians and Pakistanis have a lot of them (like Pashtuns).

In fact, the separatist movement makes it harder to run Kashmir and results in a greater military presence, so the separatist movement only benefits Pakistan at the expense of the Kashmiri people.

Kashmir didn’t even have a democracy at that time so how are you using democracy to claim that the dogra was illegitimte? In fact, who gave the Kashmiris the right to choose their leader? Only a higher authority can give power and at that time, the higher authority was the British who gave power to the dogra to do what he wants. After the French king was successfully overthrow, do we know he is no longer in power. That never happened in Kashmir as the dogra was still alive, still had power and willingly chose India.

Second most important are HDI and multidimensional poverty index, third is gdp per capita and life expectancy, the least important are poverty rates and hunger/happiness index. I give more importance to stats that are more comprehensive, take into account multiple factors and are not based on feelings while you give more importance to stats that show Pakistan is better than India, without knowing that those stats show Nepal better than Pakistan 😂😂 It’s not even a question whether Indonesia is corrupt when the stats clearly prove it is. A govt that is more corrupt cannot be more competent because corruption causes incompetence which causes mismanagement.

You said before that Pakistan poverty rate 4.9% and now you’re saying it is 22% lol. The fact of the matter is that we can define the poverty rate to be whatever (based on the monetary value), which is why I use a more objective method called the multidimensional poverty index. And so what if it mentioned HDI? It also takes into account all the poverty rates you mentioned too and it still concluded that India has less poverty than Pakistan.

They felt that way because Bangladesh was basically a colony of Pakistan. @hellothere1656 Qatar is unstable because it relies on cheap foreign labor and oil prices, both of which are unstable factors. Qatar also depends on foreign militaries to protect itself and its trade routes. Qatar is not a democracy either, so revolts are more likely to occur (especially when the majority of the population are foreign workers). And yes, Qatar is in an unstable environment as well.

Foreign laborers make way less than $81,400 (which is most of the population) so again Norway is richer and safer than Qatar. U keep trusting random people instead of the facts.

@hellothere1656 No it doesn’t take long to produce WB pverty rates. Pakistan was 9.4% in 2010 and then 9.6% in 2011. Some countries have data for every year. It is an argument because u are trying to disregard the ppl that do earn well in India, especially as u get to higher values (like $6.85, $10 ect…) which again proves that the majority of Indians do earn more than Pakistanis because only a minority of Indians earn less than $2.15 or $3.65. U believe that just because a minority of Indians earn less than Pakistanis, therefore the majority of Indians earn less than Pakistanis. It makes no sense, hence why most economists just compare countries by GDP per capita or GNI per capita (which the WB does as well).

I will also claim a country is better overall if it does better on quality of life indexes. The average Indian is living a better, longer life when compared to the average Pakistani (which the life expectancy measures). Even India’s (0.444) and Nepal’s (0.424) inequality-adjusted HDI (IHDI) proves that the average Indian/Nepali is living better than the average Pakistani (0.36). Simple as that. If we use $10 pverty rates, even a larger chuck of ur population can be considered pooor so that’s ur point?
