An important distinction you make here is that it should be quality relationships. I used to play characters around different people so that they would all like me. When I be my authentic self, I have less relationships but the ones I do have are much deeper and better quality.

@djpals101 Definitely a tricky question to answer. If you've really lost your authentic self, there are two things I would do. 1) Become ok with certain people disliking you (easier said than done but over time this mindset can be achieved) 2) Travel to somewhere were you don't know anyone. (Our mind craves consistency above a lot of things, so it almost forces us to act in ways in which are consistent with how we believe other people see us. If we don't know anyone around us however, then there will be no character our mind forces us to play) Do both of these things I believe you will find your authentic self. I'm not saying you have to move somewhere new permanently, but even just a couple of days will reveal the real you.
