The poor generally have far less free time than those of median income due to a number of factors. If you have a problem with public transit being congested you could A-move the costs of improving the system to drivers, because they benefit by reduced commute times because of the lower traffic B-move the costs to businesses (especially those in urban areas) who will economically benefit from the improved infrastructure C-acknowledge that public transit is a public good with a multitude of benefits (dirrect and indirrect) and fund it out of the general budget D-ask business owners to change the work schedules they make so that start times for shifts are more staggered throughout the day E-do several of those options F-fuck over the poor making them waste time and your public transit system as a whole (which will drive more people to commuting by car, which will fuck your traffic situation too) so you can be a classist bootlicker. You chose F. Congrats asswipe, now kindly F-off.

Khashon Haselrig as someone who relies on public transit to live my life and has neither a lot of money nor free time, I honestly care rather little if I throw back a fraction of the rudeness you showed to me in supporting such an insulting policy with essentially no thought, and if you're more concerned that I was crass in my reply than the arguments you were agreeing with, that says more about you than it does me. These are the kind of policies which drastically affect the lives of large portions of the population. Either think more before you support things or grow some thicker skin where you can still rationally consider counter arguments even if someone claps back at you a bit heated, because these aren't discussions without stakes.
