  1. Wars of aggression are crimes against peace. Defensive wars are legal. Likewise warcrimes consist largely of actions so appalling that they make difficult to impossible that terms could be come to for a future peace. Instead, things that are warcrimes almost guarantee that the war will devolve into an endless cycle of vengeance. You should look more into what, specifically, warcrimes are and why each of those things are warcrimes.
