@coocoolefool you're being distracted by the people you've been told to be afraid of and are missing the bigger question: Can politicians be trusted to tell any adult citizen "you can't vote."? NO! You get shit like disproportionate sentencing and legislating BS to specifically target communities unlikely to vote for them. That's how we got the war on drugs. Just like with gerrymandering and all other forms of voter suppression and disenfranchisement, politicians being allowed to choose their voters completely flips the entire idea of people choosing their government on its head. The right to vote must be inalienable. Period. End of discussion.
