Funny thing about rot: it spreads. Throw out the bunch and the barrel it's in.

Reguarally going out and saying things you know will get you insulted to reinforce your ingroup/outgroup distinctions like you Jimmy Dore fans regurally do is a behavor most associated with cults and how they increase dependancy on the cult. Just pointing out the red flag you just displayed that's showing how you're being wrapped up in the cult of personality Jimmy is creating around himself, intentionally or otherwise.

Andrea MENDENHALL the data absolutely supports the analogy.

Andrea MENDENHALL oh look, YouTube deleted my comment too, because it hates facts. Let's try again.

Andrea MENDENHALL 3/3 and then look up: theintercept chicago police misconduct social network So yeah, the data absolutely supports the true bad apple comparison. And that's not even getting into how forming the thin blue line to cover for criminal cops makes everyone involved a bad cop by definition or anything else. Just raw data. Deal

Andrea MENDENHALL let's take a look at how willing you are to be dishonest here. I mentioned YouTube deleting posts, numbered my posts. #2/3 is clearly missing, but I'm the one looking at just one factor (which even the study of the comment I showed was dealing with an in depth analysis of multiple things), one of my other comments leading you to a different study was clearly eaten by YouTube, and you're looking at out of context stats so you can motte and bailey this convo. Yeah, maybe cut down the projection by a factor of 1000 if you want to be able to have a conversation based in reality?

Andrea MENDENHALL 1/3: what you're pulling is called a motte-and-bailey fallacy, first off. You can look that one up on Wikipedia

Andrea MENDENHALL 2/3 since YouTube hates actually citing things with links, you'll have to do the web search yourself but there are actual studies (not just "here's a couple datapoints, let's infer without expertise") and here's 1: Look up: pbs nova police misconduct peer effects (Reposted: also, no shit it's a Dem run city. Almost all cities are. The GOP typically controls rural areas which run on a sheriff system, which is different. Also most dems are on the right, so yeah, not going to get much love for them here)
