I've come to a very simple standard on this: Reckless endangerment is already a crime. Your freedom to swing your fist stops at my nose. Thus, if you want to self-isolate in the woods or in your home to avoid the shot, have fun, but you don't have anymore right to spread around a pandemic than you do to drive drunk or wave around a loaded gun in the middle of a crowd for no good reason. It's a very simple and consistent standard. Whether we're talking mask rules or vaccines, if you refuse to not follow basic rules to not endanger the wellbeing of the people around you, we have a lot of jailcells with non-violent offenders that we can make make room in. I really don't give AF. And while we're on the subject, remember that BS where people were responding to employees asking them to please put on a mask by shouting and deliberately coughing on their face that was going viral repeatedly towards the beginning of this. That's assault. If spitting on someone's shirt normally counts as assault, pulling that BS in a pandemic is at least assault and that's not even up for discussion. Self defense and arrests would have been the appropriate responce and shut this BS down early.

@CMA418 no vaccine is 100% effective, the immunocompromised and people who can't take the vaccine exists, and the longer it circulates the more chance it has to mutate into something that bypasses our resistance (through infection and vaccination) putting us right back at square 1. This has been repeated endlessly for a very long time and isn't even touching on the issue of our hospitals being overwhelmed impacting the ability for everyone to count on their being able to access needed medical care. Seriously, considering putting this comment on a note file so I can copypaste it with how sick I'm getting repeating the same damn thing...

@Socialism_on_Roids I mean, the leftmost portion of his audience is and will continue to be increasingly either driven off or dragged with his cult of personality to the right. It's not possible to both remain an actual leftist(or anything close) and follow him where he's headed indefinitely, no matter how much someone wants to not see what's happening.

He was always kinda a jackass you needed to take with a big pinch of salt, but the moment Bernie endorced Hillary in 2016 is the moment that knocked him off the tracks. He's been heading further and further towards crazy down ever since and there is no way to stop him. On the upside, he's starting to get so far away from the plot and bleeding off so much leftist support as his audience becomes increasingly fascistic in proportion, that he's finally starting to loose relevance as he drifts into the more fascist circles and out of being a liability to leftist ones. ...and good fucking riddens. Whatever good will he may have earned with his earlier work is long since spent.

@wvu05 yeah, the only defensible stance for voting 3rd party and letting the chips fall where they may is a non-quantifiable risk estimate that if we got Hillary, we'd be getting a fascist anyway, and Trump is about as incompetent of one as we could possibly get. Not a provable stance in any way, but at least something you can say you have an outcome in mind worse than Trump (the fascist Hillary would be paving the way for in that scenario), instead of pretending that Hillary (as awful as she is) would by herself, do more damage than Trump. This was, of course, not something I recall ever hearing from Jimmy or anyone like him for that matter....'cause he's (by his own admission) an idiot, so it was every stupid rationalization imaginable except the one that could actually not immediately fall appart once the emotions died down.
