  2. More accurate that "I can beat a man in armor with a stick" no, no you can't. The guy in armor will just let you hit him as he walks up and guts you. People wouldn't have made armor and swords if staves were more effective. Mobs using numbers polearms to bring armored soldiers down and finish them with daggers? Yes, that's something the soldiers would need to be concerned about, but not quarterstaves. Not to mention the laughable scene where the guy with that light flail is hitting the guy in armor and he's not even flinching.
