Or maybe we just adapt our understanding to new information available while continuously innovating better ways to do things. Are there conspiracies out there? Sure, always have been, but: CFLs are better than incandescents LEDs are rapidly surpassing CFLs These are objective facts. Don't let your fear paralyze you and close your mind to new information.

Assuming you aren't insane enough to think that paranoid schizophrenics should be able to own nuclear arms, how about you get off your high-horse, admit that you draw a line somewhere too, and join the conversation over where and how that line should be drawn rather than just using pithy little sentence fragments?

Lenny3669 and where does "sufficiently discriminatory" begin and end then? RPGs? Machine guns? Anti-tank rifles, or other anti-material rounds? Just because the example I used to rule out the crazies is an obvious "no" doesn't mean there isn't a large continuum of types of arms in terms of how discriminatory they are and that different people draw that line in different places. Burring your head in the sand and ignoring that fact doesn't make it disappear. (this is to say nothing of background checks being mandatory either, which is a discussion that we apparently still need to have despite most NRA members supporting universal background checks)
