  2. Even if I choos to forgive, TRUST is a whole other level entirely and they've PROVEN that their ethics and judgement are unreliable, so I would be a fool to trust without extreme reason. There's a reason why forgive and forget are different words. I don't even trust DEMOCRATS who didn't support Bernie because they've proven that my human rights are negotiable to them. Former MAGA can pretty much forget trust because I'm ALWAYS going to be watching for backsliding. Living with the consequences of one's actions is part of being a mature adult.
