  2. I'd also point out that sugar, fat, and salt are cheap nowadays and that it's real nutrition that's expensive. I can get a wide variety of chips, soda, and candy at the dollar store and in decent-sized quantities, but not a bit of fresh produce and even the canned goods section is severely lacking.

  7.  @julietfischer5056  that's not really practical to enforce as you're trying to outlaw charging "what the market will bear" while keeping a profit-driven market structure. The better answer is to just provide housing as a public service rather than leaving it up to markets to handle.
