Reminder: we cannot wake up MAGA by making their kids suffer. If they cared about their kids, they wouldn't be MAGA in the first place.

I had political views separate from my parents by the age of 11. I agree with the sentiment and ethics, but on a matter of fact, children absolutely have political views.

Long term? Income-based affirmative action and lowering the costs of housing so they're less likely to end up in a situation where they're dependent on awful parents well into their adult lives. Just throwing out ideas, though, not pretending to have an exhaustive list.

It didn't have to be but Dems were more concerned with stopping progressives than stopping this, and we're all dealing with the consequences of that choice.

@TravisHRF16CC YouTube deletes most of my comments answering questions like yours but it involves the fact that free speech doesn't cover conspiracy.

Will destroy the future unless we destroy it. It's impossible to care about the future and despise the people who will be living in it.

Is incompatible with caring about the future.

@christyann1201 no disagreement on the 2nd point, but we need to be clear that Dems see US as their main political opposition, not Republicans. They have never been on our side in this struggle and have actively chosen to prioritize stopping anything remotely left of center over stopping the far right. This future that we're suffering is the result of deliberate choices they have been repeatedly making.

We're not in a position to do much for them right now, but we can help in the future by implementing income-based affirmative action in the future, as well as things that will help all of us like lowering the cost of housing so they don't need to be dependent on their awful patents.
