Corporatism is right wing. Hillary is right wing. Capitalism naturally concentrates (aka redistrubutes) wealth because capitalism is a system where the economy functions in accordance with the choices of people based on how much capital (aka wealth) they have, meaning the system is going to inherently preferentially serve those who are rich, making them more rich. Also, you don't need more than a highschool econ textbook and 3 brain cells to see how market forces in anything close to a free-market capitalist system will constantly destroy competition if you just stop treating economics like a religion with an invisible savior to have faith in. Talking to libertarians is like talking to a brick wall.

Right vs left is about the concentration vs distribution of power, respectfully. The USSR absolutely used a far right-wing form of government to (at least according to them) achieve far left goals. This created an unsustainable contradiction in their system that eventually caused its collapse. The USSR is absolutely not a more extreme version of what social democrats want. Btw: more accurately than saying ownership by a collective (which could be a collective of aristocrats excluding the workers), it's more accurate to define socialism as ownership of the means of production by the workers. Theoretically, this could be done through democratizing the workplace or by using a democratic state as a proxy for the workers. The USSR however, being a totalitarian state, did not enable the workers to control the government, so even though the government controlled the means of production, it doesn't really qualify. That's why it gets called "state capitalist" sometimes.
