  2. I think there's at least 1 kind that specializes in eating parasitic mites, and just kinda hangs around on beetles using them as giant bait for what it really eats.

  3.  @ericvandenavond8748  sounds familiar so probably correct. I'm far from an expert, but the fact that I recognize that name with how limited my mite knowledge is suggests that's the one I was thinking of.
