Me, an American where bleaching/dying hair natural colors is fairly common: "Uhhhhhhhh...yeah, idk either tbf"

I would assume the effect is still there in darker hair colors, if harder to notice. Considering how many people dye/bleach their hair where I live, though (usually natural colors, making it even harder to tell who's hair is their natural color), I can't even say how true it is in America from my experience.

I like the way you're thinking, but with the added drag of the net increasing fuel consumption and the fact that they usually follow the currents (which means not going through the patches) it doesn't really work. Specially-designed crafts like these ones and designing and releasing genetically-engineered plastic-eating plankton are really our only options do deal with the plastic that's already there. The other half of this is to stop it getting into the water in the first place, but every piece of the greater puzzle matters.

@jmbreche what? Without nukes, the cold war wouldn't have stayed cold. We would have had WW3 instead of the space race.

1:56 "Her face was degloved" GAH! That is ALL kinds of no! I can only hope she doesn't remember the incident.

And are still wrong. Hotels do use fitted sheets and they're not that hard to fold when you know how. Sincerely, a hotel worker.

@notksiolijadebt6558 they meant "Indians" as in "People living in/citizens of India, the country" implying they should have seen people from other races/ethnicities there. That said, idk if there's enough of a northern European demographic in India to make blond hair common enough for that to matter, as we're talking about a trait possessed by a minority of a minority that is recessive, so unlikely to show in mixed-race people. Idk if it was a valid point, but you misunderstood it.

Take the doll, with a homicidal soul that can hop to other nearby dolls, back to a store with more dolls? Worst. Plan. Ever.

My mom was a fairly loud snorer too, but never made a big deal out of it. If you're rejecting the statistics because it is in conflict with your anecdotal experience, the problem is probably with you.

Yeah, time is your biggest issue, so the question is the amount of paperwork as your limiting factor. Currency trading probably doesn't count, but gold is a good you can buy. Another option would be stocks, as you could buy a lot of them very quickly. Almost all large purchases come with a lot of paperwork, so smaller purchases that take little-to-no paperwork and that you can resell later are by far the better choice.

@digimonlover1632 do you have a life outside of (incorrectly) telling people they're wrong on the internet? O.o
4
@natashamiah5261 yeah...how we do the whole 'getting seafood' thing needs such a massive overhaul, top to bottom.

@bluechili7036 that's a myth, actually. The style of one-handed sword most people (incorrectly) call longswords average at about 2.4 lbs. Actual longswords (which were at designed with at least the potential to be used 2-handed, if not being dedicated 2-handed weapons) were generally under 4 lbs. The biggest, heaviest greatswords topped out just over 7 lbs. For reference, a gallon of milk (which doesn't have a handle designed for you to put 2 hands on and swing it around) weighs 8.6 lbs and a 2 liter bottle of pop weighs 4.4 lbs.

@rylandrc yeah...almost like entrusting most of the wealth generated by our economy to those most addicted to greed is a recipe for disaster...just saying...

Yeah, a lot of those big purchases would take more than a day to complete the paperwork on anyway. Stocks and/or gold/other commodities could be done in an afternoon (less if you already have an account with a trading company)

@thecoobs8820 the distinction isn't relevant to this conversation but by some metrics India can be considered a continent. Of course, that's mostly just for geology and would not seperate Europe and Asia but be talking about Eurasia. I don't know of any metric which would list both "India" and "Asia", though, so it doesn't change anything about the conversation. Just sharing a bit of information about there's not just one way to divide up the continents you might find interesting.

@annoyingdumbhole8985 not if said box is the frame for a block of concrete

@YoITS XpertGamer not if you take the machete from your friend's body before Jason can retrieve it. Then you have a machete and he is unarmed. Better know what you're doing with it though

@airspotterone5601 ...private sector created this problem dude. Private sector also bought off our government to prevent them from stopping their pollution... O.o

I'm sure you could go to a stock-trading firm and they would either take the dollars or exchange them for pounds for you
