  1. It's not just the news channels, but the advertisers themselves who want to get back to the days where their advertising dollars bought influence over narrative. (And sometimes, the news channels and those who they're supposed to be reporting on are part of the same conglomerate) Youtube's gain out of this is they get to turn into cable TV 2.0. Just take a look at how they started pushing corporate content channels and TV-styled models of buisness (even calling one of them "Youtube TV") like clockwork just a few months after the adpocolypse started.
