@morphkogan8627 ah, yes, all the charity he gets a tax break and a boosted public image for, but which hardly dents the problems he is actually going after like it could if he would throw more than the equivalent of pocket change for him at it. He's such an altruist. /s Charity is a well-known tactic the rich use to invest in trying to keep the people from trying to seriously deal with inequality. NNA S why should a rich person want to vote for someone who would distribute economic power to the poor when that would be against his interests? Why should a white man have voted for anything in the civil rights movement when that meant sharing social, political, and economic power? If "because it's the right thing to do" how about because the alternatives to a tax increase are pitchforks and guillotines or fascism?
