Right wingers gonna right wing There were signs all around. It was only a matter of time before something like this happened no matter how much his fanboys wanted to pretend otherwise.

Yup, though Yang's UBI plan was shit which should really have been people's first clue. The "Yang Gang" was more interested in the aestetics of intellectualism than the real thing though.

Michael Shlomo no, antizionism is not automatically antisemitic you nutter. Also, most Zionism in the US is rooted in antisemitism, so congrats on feeding into that.

@sethtedder3173 I'm sorry, is my username Hillary Clinton or DNC? No? Didn't think so.

@jarrickhillery8664 let's take a moment to look at his signature UBI policy. He's repeatedly said it would replace welfare benefits (or that welfare benefits would reduce it, and at least occasionally that his goal was to replace the welfare system) and it would be paid for with a vat tax. So we're already talking about a program that disproportionately leaves the poor out while being paid for with a regressive tax before we even get into things like how it would raise rent or the warning signs of how many fascists liked him. What's it going to take for people to recognize that he's (at best) just a right-wing "libertarian" (in the American sense) techbro? He may not be a fascist like Trump, but he is on the right-wing side of the political spectrum.

@michaelayeni177 it's not. Most domestic terrorism is right wing, Al-Quaida is right wing, etc. Apartheid is though, at least among the far right, which the Israeli government sure seems to like.

@christianpowerssavesthewor8404 see my comment to Jarrick, but yes, because he is and I'm not politically illiterate enough to think the line between left and right politics lies between the US's center-right and far-right parties.
