  1. Exactly. This was a hatecrime and he was trying to escalate the situation so he could be more violent. He's a threat to society and needs to be locked away for public safety for a lot longer than 30 days

  2. There was an FBI report years ago about deliberate infiltration of law enforcement and the military being pervasive enough to constitute a threat to national security. So, I don't have numebers, but it's a lot.
