Like Bramble mentioned, there's a lot of reason to HIGHLY suspect his statement being extremely sketchy. We need to actually know what's going on before we eat our own.

@robingourde9366 that is the point of the rhetorical question, I expect.

@sureshkumar-qw9ny then surely you have a citation and aren't just taking the corporatist at his word, right?

More urban areas is probably good for her changes. Likewise, gerrymandering by the GOP is inclined to pack all the strongest Dem support in as few districts as possible, sacrificing a few seats to be guaranteed blue while having as many other districts with a small but secure GOP over Dem lead. The same mechanisms they use to try and have the vote end up disproportionately Red in final seat count would be inclined to create a district that Nina would have a better shot in. No guarantees, of course, but there is reason to hope.

What we need to shift is what people think "looks good". The fact that people think people like Hillary and Biden are more electable (dispite all evidence to the contrary) is the result of a massive propaganda campaign we need to dismantle.

Of course they are. They know that as soon as public perception reflects the reality that "moderate, middle of the road, electable candidate who can get things done" describes the progressive caucus way more than it does them, that their days as career politicians are over. Every progressive who can win and hold a seat in the general is a critical blow to the idea that we need to nominate center-right corporatists to keep the fascists out of office and they can only take so many before the entire illusion of them being the sensible centrist choice shatters and they have to run and govern based on something besides the fear of the GQP. That's why many would rather loose a seat (or the Presidency) to the far-right and try again next election than let a progressive win, especially since once we do, we have staying power through the ups and downs of the political cycles and they're the ones who loose their seats when blue turnout goes down.

@warriorwaitress7690 even if we take his word for it, do you know WHY they weren't there to make that judgement? Making sure the real progressives weren't available to cast dissenting votes may have been a big part of what happened. Idk what happened but I'm not turning on progessives over unsubstantiated cagey BS like that from someone I expect to by lying at least by omission with everything he says, and you shouldn't either.
