  5. It's not even just racial. The youth are tokenized. The lgbtq+ community is tokenized. Lots of crocodile tears over how bad they get treated, nice pedestals when they find ones willing to tow the line, but when it comes to policies that would actually help people? "Well, the thing is...."

  7.  Gregulator  the argument from Jason, and others in those communities, is that older black voters don't believe that white voters will vote for Bernie because it would mean sharing the prosperity of the country for the first time in their lives. I disagree with the electability argument there in several ways, but that seems to be a perspective held by older black voters and I can understand how their perspective may be colored by their life experience.
