ISPs have: 1- engaged in anti-compeditive collusion to create regional monopolies and price fixing. 2- bribed congress to destroy internet privacy 3- subverted democracy to destroy net neutrality. 3-strikes, you're out, time to make it a national/municipal utility and utterly destroy these companies. They've proven without doubt that they simply cannot be trusted with a utility vital to the information age.

  2. I'm assuming those were in the US? There are other countries with municipal internet going strong, providing better speeds at lower costs than the US. Also, it'd be nice to see statistics on success rates to be sure those articles you mention weren't cherry-picking.
