  6.  @s871-c1q  an easy, but time consuming route would be to go back further using CK2 and then port a game where you're not starting from a position handicapped by a run of terrible (usually short-lived) emperors. If you do well you might even be able to hit 1444 having most of the Western Roman Empire reunified under your rule. If you do really well, you can do even better than that.
