Metal Scar if you think giant, privately-owned, for-profit corporations who's customers are other giant, privately-owned, for-profit corporations lean left I have a bridge to sell you.

Metal Scar what media are you talking about then? And why do you keep talking about Biden like he's left? He's center-right (at best).

Scott Bowyer the fact that it looked lawless to you speaks only of the "news" sources you look to and your willingness to believe a cult leader. Time to do a purge of all your YouTube subscriptions that were feeding you that BS.

Metal Scar Trump's a fascist. That's an incredibly low bar. And no, Facebook and Twitter fall under the exact same descriptions I put forward for the corporate news and Hollywood is, again, made up of for-profit private megacorps (and some of the exact same megacorps that own the TV news stations). Laughing and going back to talking heads feeding you disproven propaganda about how much conservatives are getting censored for being conservatives doesn't change that. Want to take an example? Twitter once made an algorithm to flag racist content. They canned the project when they found it flagged more Republicans then "Democrats" because they wanted to play to a false equivolence between a far-right and center-right party even though we all know where the KKK vote goes to.

The founding fathers seem to have left a fair bit to future generations to figgure out while the work was held together through a mix of forbearance carried forward via gentleman's agreements (which has been destroyed in the last decade overwhelmingly by one party) and the threat of violence "watering the tree of liberty" If we don't fix our systems in a big way stronger than they have ever been, we're gonna be in a really bad way, because we're in untenably precarious situation and I don't see many people trying to fix things beyond just going back to the status quo that gave us this mess in the first place.

When was the last time the US created a big problem that didn't envelope the world? We're kinda all in this together.

@JoshSweetvale depends on the crowd and if the tank has infantry support. Tanks are actually really vulnerable to some simple and iconic insurgent tactics if they don't have backup.

@jagoosw if the Hague were to get involved, most federal-level politicians in at least the last 2 decades would be getting lawyers to try and save them from hanging for their crimes. Note: I'm not saying that would be a bad thing, but there's no way our current government would ever even dream of truly submitting to international law because of the implications to themselves they would be opening the door to.

The thing that most recently died is the concept of forbearance, and that's a huge problem encompassing this issue as well.
