@Cantudreams 1-gridlock is not how the system is supposed to function. 2-even if the GOP entirely went away, the Dems would split and there would be 2 parties again anyway 3-the actual center (of both the country and the full political spectrum) is to the LEFT of the Dems, meaning any "both sides" nonsense is BS

@coolnerdlll6053 Hillary would have sleepwalked this country right into the hands of the next fascist demagogue to come after Trump (who would likely be worse and more competent). That said, Gore winning would likely have put the party on a trajectory to nominate someone other than Hillary.
