@lncafein Russia has Nazis in their army. Everyone has some Nazis in their army. Funny how you only care about the Nazis in the government with a Jewish president and not the ones in the government with a fascist dictator.

@immunetowesternlies8697 wasting munitions leveling residential blocks isn't winning a war. It's throwing a temper-tantrum on the scale of a warcrime. This is a universal problem with fascists. Your ideological opposition to reason makes you weak in the head.

@sergeytaranovich2368 Russia is very unlikely to use nukes unless it is invaded. Keep in mind also, that redrawing borders because of this invasion is likely to lead to further conflict down the line. One way or another, Putin won't be in power forever, and adding to seperatist violence by giving him land as an appeasement gesture isn't going to help with that. We do need to be sober, I agree. Not pushing back so hard that they get used in a panic is important, but there are other grim realities we need to be sober about for the future as well.

@drinkskhalifa7153 Ukraine's biggest problem right now is that they're not under NATO protection, and Putin has just made every country in eastern Europe realize how dangerous it is to be near Russia and NOT part of NATO.

@immunetowesternlies8697 "Oh, so everyone who didn't eat chips of lead paint as kids is a genius?" is the exact same "logic" as your reply. This is war of aggression, and thus a crime against peace. You're just an appeaser and would have opposed trying to stop Nazi Germany before things got really bad. That's why you need to completely abandon reason to argue your pro-war position and pretend others are pro-war. War exists because Putin sent people to fight. Appeasement doesn't actually stop war with fascists. It just encourages them, reinforcing the behavior and giving them more resources to fight the next war. Being pro-peace means, in part, being willing to support violent opposition to wars of aggression. That's the actual reality.
