  1. You don't even need to read anything about socialism or communism. Just read a high-school level economics textbook (even a 100% capitalist one) and apply critical thinking. About half of the fundamental premises the entire economic system is built on are just plain wrong when you apply an ounce of critical thinking to them, and people are surprised when they whole system fails to work as advertised (and keeps acting in the same manner it has throughout its historical use).
