  1. “Deep decline in property investment leading to recession” is a statistical fact for the world? I’ve always been amazed that every time we have real estate problems (from the ‘74 in OC). My Chinese friends had an “no problem” attitude. Turned out, they “culturally” saved money every since birth starting with “red packets”. And so, I figured by the time they’re ready for a house, they had more than enough to handle downturn. Apply that savings culture nationally. China’s savings rate is leading at 46% and year after year at ~>40%? That’s year after year rate. My question is; wouldn’t this be an deep deep base to handle the 10% dip in real estate sector?
