@aimee; I saw a taiwanese American passport, it clearly stated China as birthplace. His taiwanese passport, states Republic of China, and then Taiwan. He said there’s ten countries recognize Republic of China representing China. The rest of the world, recognizes People’s Republic of China, representing China. Both PRC and RoC, or China, have Taiwan as a province, of China.

@aimee; You wrote, no Republic of China “anymore”. Meaning, you knew what the fact was but “no more”. Fine, I just saw both passports of my friend last weekend. As of end of June 2024.

@aimee; 1) Fact. The world agree that Taiwan is a province of China. With ~10 of the name RoC and ~180 with the namePRC. 2) I just called up my friend, he said usa passport uses the name China for birthplace of Taiwan, because of fact 1. Either name still represents China (180+10) and Taiwan is just a part. 3) His taiwanese passport states clearly in English RoC. But his wife’s Republic of China is not in English, only in Chinese.

@aimee; For business, my taiwanese friends and I go to Hongkong every year. And there, you’re NOT allowed to enter with USA passport and birthplace of Taiwan. Only with birthplace of China on USA passport, are you allowed to enter. That I know for fact.

@sebastian; Your response is so childish. Because if you have any balls at all, taiwan should just refuse to do any business with their motherland, China. No chips, no bananas,,,, nothing. I wander how many hours would taiwan last.
